GM Susan Polgar game a simul at November 1st 2014 in Hyatt Regency Shaumburg, IL where World Youth Boys & Girls Qualifier tournament was going on. Both parents and kids were allowed to participate in the tournament. I believe I was the only parent playing the simul along with 22 other kids including my son Ahyan Zaman in next board to me. As far as I know I was the only person who won and Susan won in the rest of the boards. Last time I played against Susan was in another Simul given by her in Atlanta, Georgia at 2005 where I accepted a draw offer by her in a better position. My Simul record looks good as I also drew in a better position against GM Daniel Naroditsky earlier this year where he defended a difficult exchange down end game in that simul.

Ashik vs GM Daniel Noroditsky, Simultaneous Exhibition at 2014 San Francisco Scholastic Chess Championship
I drew with GM Daniel Naroditsky today in a Simultaneous Chess Tournament arranged the San Francisco Country Building as a side event of 2014 San Francisco Scholastic Chess Championship. Ahyan played in the scholastic event winning all his 3 games. In the meantime I joined the simultaneous display by Naroditsky under the sunlight in a comfortable temperature.
Looks like my simultaneous performance is good. The only other time I played a simul was in 2005 against GM Susan Polgar which game I also drew.

My Game Against GM Susan Polgar
GM Susan Polgar, 4-time Women's World Champion, gave a simultaneous chess in Atlanta, Georgia as part of Kay Umeakunne's Mighty Knights and Lady Bughouse chess camps in June 2005. She was at Stonecrest Mall Borders in Lithonia, Georgia one day earlier giving a lecture, conducting a Q&A, and signing copies of her new book A World Champion's Guide To Chess. The Simultaneous Exhibition was held at the Mountain Park Activity Building, Stone Mountain where we 21 chess players participated in 21 different boards.
Date: 06/24/2005 Atlanta, Georgia
Event: Simultaneous Display By GM Susan Polgar
I was 1 hour late to arrive the stone mountain as I lost the road in the hill. After taking help from an old man, I could manage a taxi cab and when I reached the Mountain Park Activity Building, I narrowly managed to join the simul providing my entry fee. Among the 21 boards, Kazim's game finished last and all lost except me. I accepted a draw offer from her after 33 moves in a winning position, showing honor to a grand master. Though its not a serious game, but for an average player like me, its a good achievement.
