Won Another Game Against IM Ricardo De Guzman

As I and my son Ahyan regularly play Friday Night Marathon at Fremont Norcal House of Chess, I frequently face IM Ricardo De Guzman there. I invariably loose all the time except once I won. Today won a second time. If you want to check my first win against Ricardo, here it is.

Ashik vs Nelson Sowell, Charles Powell Memorial 2014, MIC, SFO, Round 2

Ashik vs IM Ricardo De Guzman, Friday Night Marathon Mat 2014, Round 1

This was my first win against an internal master in a normal time control. Although it was played in a local marathon tournament in Fremont NorCal House of Chess, its very significant for boosting my confidence as a chess player.

Ashik vs Anirudh Seela, Friday Night Marathon, Spring 2014, Round 1

I started playing Friday Night Marathon last weekend. In the first round I won again Anirudh Seela to whom I lost recently on the same English opening. So it was my turn this time to equal the score and the opening didn't go well for me again. I guess I am a bit vulnerable against 1.c4 . But mixing tactics and strategy I was able to come up with a very double edged, sharp position where I outplayed Anirudh slowly with a nice finishing touch.

Ashik vs Mike Splane, Friday Night Marathon, NorCal House of Chess, Winter 2014, Round 2

I didn't play the first round and because Ahayn is playing and I have to drop him, so I started playing the marathon from second round.
